FAQ

Common Questions

We work with MIG, TIG, and stick (SMAW) welding processes depending on the material and application. MIG for most structural steel work, TIG for cleaner aluminum or stainless finishes, and stick for heavy outdoor or structural connections. We weld steel, iron, and aluminum.
Yes — we handle both conventional wood framing (2×4, 2×6, engineered lumber) and light-gauge or structural steel framing. The right choice depends on the application, budget, and structural loads. We'll recommend what's best for your specific project.
Absolutely. We can work from your design sketches, reference photos, or we can design from scratch based on your style and function requirements. Every gate and railing we build is a one-off — hand-welded and fitted to your exact opening.
Yes. We coordinate professional powder coating for a durable, chip-resistant factory finish in any color. We also offer primer and paint finishing for projects that need on-site touch-up capability. All exposed metalwork gets a rust-inhibiting primer at minimum.
Both. Simple repairs, structural connections, and large installations are typically done on-site. Precision fabrication — stairs, gates, custom railings — is done in-shop for quality control, then delivered and installed. We'll tell you upfront which approach fits your job.
When required, yes — we handle all permitting. Structural framing, load-bearing alterations, and large metal installations typically require permits in Texas municipalities. We know the requirements for Austin, Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, Bastrop, and Round Rock.
